- 1 / 5By slim danielWe spent the week end in Spring Lake to celebrate our 20th anniversary and arrived 10 minutes late for our reservation at Whispers. The owner of the restaurant was arrogant, rude and scolding and punished us for our tardiness by sitting us at a table other than the one we had reserved. The food was just okay and overpriced. The atmosphere was a bit tired. This precious approach to food is becoming unfashionable and this with the attitude of the proprietor conspired to create an unpleasant experience when it should have been exceptional and festive.
